We bought this game because we enjoy the other Lego games (Star Wars and Indiana Jones). We have now thrown this game away because in order to unlock certain parts of the game you are forced to play a villain. As a villain there are parts where you are attacking and killing police officers. Being a police officer, I was very upset when my husband showed this to me. I am very disappointed in this game.

I got this as a birthday present for a 7 year old. I heard within hours how much fun this was and how many levels he already done.

My son had a lot of fun up to the point of ‘Flight of the Bat’. At this point the game continues to lock up the Wii. This is not an isolated issue, however WB does not seem to have an easy fix. They told me to clean it, did not work. Play it in another Wii, like I can send my 9 yr. old to a friends house for two days of straight game play to get to the point it locks up the machine when it is a known issue. Now I have to send it back, to hopefully get a new copy. This will take several weeks if we are lucky and they do not seem to guarantee anything.

Great game, kids love it. But it freezes on the Wii at certain points in the game and must unplug Wii to restart it. Usually the part where they are driving or flying a vehicle. Search Google for “Lego Batman Freezes” and you’ll see that it’s a common problem. So just be prepared for some frustration if you buy this.

I bought this for my 9 year old son’s birthday. He absolutely loves it, but lately it has become a great source of frustration for him: in the middle of playing, it freezes and he cannot continue!
Am considering trying to exchange it as defective, ‘cuz we’ve had it less than a month!
